See images of unrivalled beauty, from the Milky Way delicately draped over the Sahara to celestial delights above the Himalayas and dancing auroras over Lapland. This is the beauty of the Universe we live in and are continuing to explore. The images try to reclaim the natural night sky as a cultural heritage common to mankind on our small planet, which is lost to so many people today in the modern world due to light pollution. But what we see also allows us to investigate the principles of Nature, and thereby the pictures provide a deep connection between art and science.

The exhibition was developed together with “The World at Night”, a global team of world-known photographers and astronomers, known for its innovative programme to create and present stunning photographs of the world's most beautiful and historic sites against night-time backdrops of stars, planets, and celestial events. First the first time, such an exhibition can be seen in Qatar.
