The observed flux at time t reads F(t) = FS A(t) + FB, where the source flux FS and the background flux FB are specific to each observing site and filter, while A(t) denotes the theoretical magnification. In order to put different data sets (ti, Fi, σFi) on the same plot, we show the theoretical magnitude shift Δm = 2.5 lg A(t) along with mi = 2.5 lg Ai and the error bar σmi = [2.5/ln(10)] [σFi/|FS Ai|]. Epochs for which Ai ≤ 0 are marked by small stars below the abscissa.
